Hello! My name is Nikki Medders and I am a member of Markham Street Baptist Church. I went to Peru last year on the trip but have since moved back home to Texas (I had originally thought I was moving back home to actually go back to Peru full time, but funny how God's plans are bigger than ours!). I'm actually in Little Rock right now and one of the members here pointed me to your website. It is very encouraging to see how God continues to work in Peru and rise up leaders to accomplish His work down there. I know that God is going to use y'all in huge ways to further His kingdom down there (which from your blogs is apparent how He is already at work in that). I know that the oppression can be tough, and that the enemy is hard at work to get y'all down, so some prayer action will definitely be happening on this side of things. Keep up the amazing work and God Bless!
Hey Jessica, It's Natalie again. :) In youth group the other night, we watched a video about these two missionaries who take the clothes on their backs, and a few other things and go oversees to be "nomad" missionaries. They had no plan on where they were going or going to be doing. It was cool to see the oppertunities that the Lord oppend up for them. But as we were watching it, my heart began to ache to go back to Peru. I have felt God's call on my life to be a full time missionary someday (after I got to college). Right now, I'm so ready to start my time on the mission field. It was crazy how much I just couldn't think about anything else than Peru that night! I can't wait! Have you met Darwin yet? He's a sweet boy with a cleft pallet, there's also Helena, Katalina twins that are on fire for the Lord, and Jackie. Oh my goodness, so many people I can't wait to see! I only have to wait about a month!!!!!!!! :) Well I'll let you go, but I'll talk to you later on! Can't wait to meet you!
