safe and sound in corongo!

well, when i sent out the first email to you guys from nazca letting you know we´d made it safe and sound, i also told you that the blog had been updated...and it was! but as soon as i hit send on the email and publish on the blog, the computer froze! the email went out, but i lost the blog entry:(

i´m gonna do my best to recap to you the answered prayers, amazing times of restoration, and the readying of the Harvest in Corongo- bear with me! I´ve got 7 days to cover! And we serve a BIG and MIGHTY God! The internet is giving me fits right now so I´m going to stick up a few pics and then maybe some more tonight or tomorrow!

PICS: 1)Matthew soaking up the Word of the Lord as we embark on our treacherous trip to Huaraz 2) the road to Huaraz 3) okay trust me when i say that there´s no way i´m sleeping. this is me thinking, ´´maybe if i dont look at the road, i won´t feel like my life is being threatened!´´ 4) but man, Huaraz made ALL the bumps and dust in our face worth it! This is in the Cordillera Blanca, the mountain is Huascaran, the 2nd tallest mountain in South America - around 23000 feet!

Isn't Huaraz beautiful?!? I wasn't a fan of the city part itself, but it had the most amazing view. I actually worked close to Huaraz in Recuay which has a even higher elevation than the city of Huaraz last year so I can 100% relate to the crazy mountain roads and 100hr bus rides. I'm praying for you. ~Lindsay Swain (Laura's friend)
